• The department was started in 1970 with establishment of the college. The biology department has Botany and Zoology subjects, both at subsidiary level. Now these subjects will be offered under CBCS as elective subjects. The faculties of department are Ph.D and have P.G. teaching recognition. The department works for student’s progress and development, as well as works for society as part of teaching research extension activity. This year the department carried out Soil Health Card Program, of state government, analyzed and prepared database of 20000 samples. The faculties are active in research, attend and organize conferences, workshops, seminar and present research work at state, national and international platform. The faculty members are ready to help to students in best possible waysl.
